• Prom 4 - it feels like a while since I have heard Mahler 5, or seen Sir Mark Elder


• Prom 6 - I have missed Verdi's Requiem several times over the years


• Prom 16 - John Storgårds could bring an interesting reading of the dark Shostakovich 4


• Prom 20 - Morning mood with the Kanneh-Mason clan


• Prom 29/Prom 30 - For some reason, possibly train-strike related, I missed last season's organ recital; I have my doubts about the NYO Prom, not because of the musicians, but because of the families and groupies usually in attendance


• Prom 36 - Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream


• Prom 38/Prom 39 - an interesting morning programme including The Firebird; Dvořák and others in the evening


• Prom 43 - Henry Wood's orchestration of Pictures at an Exhibition


• Prom 49 - Dvořák and Suk


• Prom 52 - Carmen


• Prom 59 - miniatures by Lili Boulanger; Fauré's Requiem


• Prom 66 - an interesting Chineke! programme
